This inexpensive and unique device allows the driver of the vehicle towing a Gooseneck Trailer to enjoy the ride quality associated with expensive air ride systems used on many modern day truck/tractors.  BUT increased comfort isn't the only advantage the owner of a Cody Cushion realizes.  It is very important to note the shock absorbtion is extremely beneficial to all the equipment, including the trailer, the tow vehicle and the actual Gooseneck Hitch, as the over-the-road "pounding" action is greatly reduced!!  YES,  METAL FATIGUE IS GREATLY REDUCED , BUT SO IS THE FATIGUE ON ANY ANIMALS YOU MAY BE HAULING.

It will install in your removable ball hitch exactly as the standard ball does. As you watch, you'll see the Cody Cushion isolating the truck and trailer from passing road jolts and vibrations back and forth between the tow vehicle and the trailer. The Cody Cushion works with almost all removable ball gooseneck hitchs by using a removable 'stub'.  The stub of your choice is included with the Cody Cushion. We also have an adapter that allows it to work on standard 5th wheel hitch rails. PLEASE REMEMBER TO ORDER THE CORRECT STUB WITH YOUR CUSHION.  THERE IS AN ILLUSTRATION OF THE DIFFERENT STUBS AVAILABLE LOWER ON THIS PAGE.  THE BRAND OF GOOSENECK HITCH THAT YOU WILL BE USING THE CUSHION IN MUST BE COMPATIBLE WITH ONE OF THE STUBS AVAILABLE.
